    Assessment Criteria

     

    Project applications should include all the necessary documents, as submissions should reflect on two main parts:

    • Technical Description: Clear description of the problem and methodology with relevant bibliographical research, and detailed technical solution with results.
    • Business Perspective: Clear description of business planning with regards to marketing, feasibility, and commercial competitiveness.

    A project would be assessed based on the achievements as follows:

    1. Creativity and Innovation (20%)
    2. Technical Solution (40%)
      • Research & Design Quality (15%)
      • Finishing and Presentation (15%)
      • Multidisciplinary Content (10%)
    3. Business Development Potential (40%)
      • Market Research & Analysis (10%)
      • Added Value to the Lebanese Industry (10%)
      • Manufacturing Plans (10%)
      • Financial Feasibility (10%)

       

      1. Doctorate/Professional Projects

        Assessment Criteria

         

        Project applications must include all the necessary documents, as submissions should reflect on two main parts:

        • Technical Description: Clear description of the problem and methodology with relevant bibliographical research, and detailed technical solution with results.
        • Business Perspective: Clear description of business planning with regards to marketing, feasibility, and benefit to the Lebanese industrial sector.

        A specialised jury of technically qualified peer reviewers, industrialists and investors, meticulously evaluates applied research project submissions according to the disbursed assessment criteria. These are briefly highlighted below in order to provide an idea of what is expected for the evaluation process. Applicants are encouraged to carefully read the disbursed detailed description before producing the project documents.
